The first scholarship students majoring in industrial product design and engineering are graduated successfully

For the first time this year, students who have received English-language training have graduated at the Institute of Product Design of the Rejtő Sándor Faculty of Light Industry and Environmental Engineering. In February 2022, three of our students succeeded in obtaining a BSc degree in Industrial Product and Design Engineering, specializing in packaging design.

During their 3 and a half years of study, all the students showed great diligence and creativity, it was a pleasure to teach them!

Two of them participated in our faculty’s Scientific Student Conference in the fall of 2021, where they performed very well with innovative themes and achieved great results. Joelle Haddad's paper Pill Box Design for Patients with Cronic Disease or for People Taking Occasional Supplement, won 1st prize, and Turbold Enkhjargal’s Reusable Packaging Design for Takeout Delivery Food won the 3rd prize. As a dissertation topic, Tomiris Kossanova also dealt with a tending topic Design of a Light Therapy Lamp and its Packaging.

As a result of their enthusiasm and perseverance, they successfully defended their degree theses and answered the diverse professional questions of the state exam. Joelle Haddad was rated outstanding and Tomiris Kossanova and Turbold Enkhjargal both excellent.

We are very proud of all three students! Their vision show commitment to their chosen profession, the utilization and further development of what they have learned here. Joelle would like to continue her studies applying for Master in diverse institutes, while Tomiris is already working at a Hungarian company. Turbold wants to use his design-oriented engineering knowledge gained here in his home country, Mongolia.

Hopefully, more scholarship students with similarly good skills and diligence will apply to us in the future!
